A 5 cm × 4.5 m roll of Phiten's X30 kinesiology tape — the strongest Aqua Titanium concentration Phiten puts into a tape, at thirty times the standard dilution.
You cut it to the length you need, which is the point: a strip down a calf, a Y around a knee, an anchor across a lower back. Physiotherapists and team trainers use the roll for exactly this reason. If you want something you can apply in two seconds without scissors, buy the discs instead.
What is in it
Aqua Titanium X30 through the fabric — not a coating. Water-resistant acrylic adhesive on an elasticated cotton weave that moves with the joint instead of fighting it.
How to use it
- Clean, dry, hairless-ish skin. Round the corners of each cut strip so it does not peel.
- Apply the anchor with no stretch, the middle with light stretch, the far anchor with no stretch.
- Rub along the tape once it is down — the adhesive sets with warmth.
- Water-resistant. Two to three days a strip is normal.
Honest expectations
Independent published research on titanium-infused tape is limited and mixed. What is not disputed is four decades of voluntary use by professional athletes who had every alternative available to them, and a manufacturing standard that is genuinely high. Buy it understanding that.
